OC Transpo

OC Transpo provides public transportation for the city of Ottawa primarily through an extensive bus rapid transit system. Although the system performed admirably for decades, changing economic, operational, and customer service requirements began to stress the OC Transpo network. City planners responded with a series of ambitious upgrades, including the construction of a completely new light rail system, multi-modal stations, and digital fare and mobile information systems. O+CO was commissioned to investigate how these improvements could be integrated into a cohesive OC Transpo brand experience for customers. We worked extensively with municipal and operations leaders to develop opportunities for service and brand enhancements that promote ease of use through the entire transit experience.
